About Us:

We are an employee-owned organisation, made up primarily of experienced Social Workers with backgrounds across a wide range of practice areas. Our team brings extensive expertise from roles within Local Authorities, Cafcass, advocacy services, and Independent Social Work.

We provide specialist assessor training designed to equip professionals with skills to deliver our parenting assessment model. In addition, we offer a broad range of courses and services tailored to support high‑quality social work practice.

Our Parenting Assessment Model:

Our specialist parenting assessment model is the most widely recognised and established framework in the UK. Over 85% of Local Authorities in England have attended our Assessor training.

The framework embeds the relevant case law and is included in the Good Practice Guidance on Working with Parents with a Learning Disability. It was designed to assess parents with learning disabilities or additional needs including (neurodiversity, mental health, trauma, domestic abuse, drug/alcohol use), ensuring it is accessible and inclusive for all parents.

99% of social workers who attend ParentAssess training say they would recommend it to others. Many highlight how it enhances the quality of their assessments and boosts their confidence in practice.
