Terms & Conditions for Visitors

Free visitor attendance at COMPASS events: Terms and conditions

COMPASS aims to bring you quality events free of charge so that you have the opportunity to network with colleagues, make new contacts, update your sector knowledge and develop your career.

As a visitor to our events we hope that the event is highly useful and you have a good day. In return we ask that you take the following terms and conditions into consideration. These are necessary to help us run the event smoothly and to ensure that everyone involved, including visitors, speakers and exhibitors, can maximise the event’s potential.

  • Seminar capacity. Our aim is to have enough capacity in our seminar rooms for everyone who wishes to attend. However on occasions some sessions may be over-subscribed and it may not possible to accommodate all visitors as the Organisers have to adhere to health and safety guidelines. All seminar seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • All seminars are publicised and put on our website prior to each event. Sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances, for example, a Speaker being unable to attend, so we reserve the right to change or cancel any seminar previously promoted for the event.

  • Any visitor who is using the event to distribute promotional literature to exhibitors or visitors, or using the event as a place to book commercial appointments will be asked to leave the event. We ask you to respect the presence of our exhibitors who have paid to have an exhibition stand so that they can speak with visitors and network with similar organisations. Should you wish to participate in this event please call us on 01892 784804 to book an exhibition stand.

  • The Organisers reserve the right to change the venue or date of the event at any time. The Organisers will not be liable for any costs that may be incurred in booking transport, accommodation or other related services.

  • Children are welcome at the event but have to be accompanied at all times by an adult. However this is at your own risk, as the Organisers have no liability whatsoever for any issues arising from the child’s attendance.

  • No recording of the seminars are allowed without prior consent of the Event Director. All seminars are the copyright of the Organisers and will not be distributed via email to visitors after the event.
