Practice Manager (Safeguarding)

This is an exciting time to be joining Medway as a Practice Manager within our Safeguarding Service. We have made significant investment in our service to achieve manageable caseloads and provide each social work pod with dedicated administrative support.

You will be responsible for supervising a pod of four social workers and strengthening the oversight of practice. You will have a recognised social work qualification together with a management qualification and practice educator stage 2. In addition you will be provided with a Microsoft Surface Pro and mobile phone to support mobile working.

Through our career progression scheme you will have the opportunity to progress your career within Medway. You will have access to a comprehensive core and advanced skills programme through our award winning Children and Adults Academy. In addition we have formed a partnership with the Centre for Systemic Social Work to provide comprehensive and accredited systemic training to support you in achieving the Graduate Certificate in Systemic Practice and/or Diploma in Systemic Supervision.
