About our ASYE programme

Our Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) training programme will support you to grow and develop your practice alongside experienced and established Social Workers within your team. You will be mentored and guided as you build your knowledge and skills with a protected caseload throughout your ASYE. Further to this our Social Work Academy will provide you with protected development time to attend training and receive reflective group supervision each month facilitated by Advanced Practice Consultant Social Workers.

 

About our Social Work Academy

The Gloucestershire Children’s Services Social Work Academy offers leadership of practice to develop outstanding Social Workers and Social Work leaders who affect positive change for children, young people and families in Gloucestershire. The aim of the Academy is to support staff with their professional accreditation responsibilities and career progression options, as well as ensuring that our Children’s Services workforce receive the highest quality Continuing Professional Development to make sure we are the best at what we do.
