Clinical Specialist (Systemic Psychotherapist or Clinical or Counselling Psychologist)

About the role

We are looking for a part time (0.5FTEClinical Specialist (Clinical / Counselling Psychologist or Systemic Psychotherapist) to join our Permanency Service at a time of exciting and positive change.

As Clinical Specialist for Achieving for Children, you will be responsible for

• Promoting a consultation model of work for the Social Work Teams
• Undertake specialist mental health assessments and therapy 
  • Provide training to a wide range of staff

This is a fantastic role in a lively and supportive team.

About you

To be a Clinical Specialist for AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points

• Putting children and young people first
• Qualified as either Systemic Psychotherapist or Clinical / Counselling Psychologist
• Able to provide consultation and training to a range of professionals on mental health
• Have previous experience in working with complex and vulnerable families
