One of our locum social workers, Michael Earle, wrote the following letter after his time working with the Children’s Social Care Team in Somerset. He’s kindly allowed us to share his feedback.
“I just wanted to take a moment to make special mention of the Safeguarding Business Support Team Staff.
During my eight months working for Somerset Children Services, they have all been outstanding in the support that they have given me as a new social worker to the team and the local authority. They were always willing to help me with my admin work and repeatedly give direction on how to navigate the LCS system. I’m sure I must have been a pain but their constantly happy appearance never revealed this.
I would like to pass onto the team, my sincerest appreciation for their continued support as they really did make my time working for Somerset enjoyable.
The whole Business Support Team are a real asset to your Children’s Services network and I hope that they continue to be appreciated for all the amazing work that they do day in and day out.”
