The COMPASS team is pleased that we can host the lively, friendly, vibrant event we know it to be this October. All tickets registered for the postponed event in March 2020 will still be valid for this event.

The exhibition is an exciting opportunity to gain access to the largest recruitment, retention, and career development opportunities in the UK for social workers.

You will be able to gain first-hand guidance and advice, while networking with hundreds of colleagues and more than 30 organisations from across social work and care, including:

- Local authorities looking to recruit

- Specialist providers showcasing innovative services

- Publishers offering new theory perspectives

- Universities and training organisations

- Recruitment agencies helping you to advance your career

This year’s exhibitors will include Birmingham Children’s Trust, City of Wolverhampton Council, Coventry City Council, Oxfordshire County Council, Torbay Council, Staffordshire County Council, Dudley Council, Swindon Borough Council, Leicestershire County Council, The Mulberry Bush, Dudley Lodge, Remedy Recruitment, Day Foster, Jessica Kingsley Publishing, and Social Work Today.

Visitors can also look forward to discovering the latest practice through the Social Work Innovations conference programme, which features more than 50 seminars, workshops, and films to give you a full day of CPD.

Social work and care professionals will be able to learn about the latest legal and policy changes to the way they practice, as well as finding out about the implementation of new practice models and social work theory perspectives.

Seminars run throughout the day across nine seminar rooms. Visitors can also get the latest career advice with the Career Planning Programme.

Whether you work with children, adults or in mental health, you can choose from sessions to advance your practice and your career.

There will also be Covid friendly practices in place according to Government guidelines at this event.
