Main Purpose of Post:
To assist the Team Manager, in managing the workload of the team and promote the effective assessment, care planning, intervention and review for older people including safe guarding.
To assist the team manager in managing delegated budgets.
To manage social workers and community support officers.
To undertake assessments and care management of cases independently within the parameters of the Council, demonstrating an ability to deal with complex cases. This will involve complex relationships, high levels of risk to older people.
To deputise in the Team Manager's absence.
