Ready for a new challenge?  Live and work in a unique part of the world!

The Falkland Islands is a British Overseas Territory set in a unique and dramatically beautiful environment in the Southern Atlantic Ocean.

The Social Services Team provides support for a wide range of people with social care needs including children, older people, and people with disabilities or long-term mental health problems. As well as a sheltered and mobile warden service, they also provide the Islands’ Probation Service. We have experienced and professional social workers who undertake child and adult safeguarding investigations in conjunction with our MASH Officer who is also part of our Social Services Team.

As a small community we have excellent interagency, partnership working with our colleagues from the Royal Falkland Island Police, Health and Education which ensures that the most vulnerable people within our community receive the best, targeted and in some case bespoke services.

If you have the drive and ambition to be successful in these challenging roles, and wish to share our ambition for the future of the Falkland Islands and the people we serve, then we certainly want to hear from you.
