There has never been a better time to join Halton’s social care teams. We’re recruiting to a range of social work roles at every level, so whether you’re newly qualified, experienced or senior, we have a social work role for you, in one of our teams.

Our salaries are competitive and roles in our children’s teams come with a generous welcome payment up to 4000. Plus we will cover the costs of your enhanced DBS check and registration to Social Work England for a limited time.

Training and development

Halton is proud to have a culture of learning. There are a wide variety of training opportunities, we are keen to develop advanced practitioners and future leaders.

Halton offer a nurturing ASYE programme for newly qualified social workers which includes a protected caseload, dedicated time for study and additional reflective supervisions. Our Practice Manager for Social Work Professional Development will support you throughout the ASYE programme and beyond.
