Attended talk on trust of children and felt that it was very interesting to hear how other councils deal with youths and how they treat people involved with trust issues. Also felt that the seminars were very good in making people aware of the improvements that can be made which can improve a shared attitude in the field of social work. A very useful day, there were lots of seminars and a great amount of choice. I attended 5 seminars and I feel much more informed about social work as a result of this. I was impressed with the number of stands at the venue, all stands gave helpful information and lots of leaflets. The Compass staff have been very helpful and well organised. Thanks for a good day! Laura Parkes, Social Work Student
An excellent array of stalls with lots of information passed on with enthusiasm. Good to see the opportunities for employment that are out there. Excellent seminars – short sweet but very informative. Emma Blinkhorn, Student Social Worker
A very useful visit. Information was available from a good cross-section of local authorities and agency employers. Venue for event was very impressive however, seating for refreshment was minimal, meaning we had to sit on the floor space. Helen Turner, Student Social Worker
This was a very informative and helpful event. The seminars were interesting and the people on the stands were helpful and friendly. I hope I can find a job with one of the agencies I applied for. Victoria Chamberlain
