'Stand
well sited and access was easy. Plenty of Compass personnel available
and they were pleasant and helpful. Admin on the build up to the event
was efficient and organised. Lunch provided was very good. Good contact
by Compass staff throughout the day. Access to a water cooler/bottles
would have been of added benefit. Overall, well organised event.'

was good to be back. Thanks for inviting us. There was a good turnout
and many of those we spoke to showed an interest in volunteering. So

'Very
impressed – this is our first time exhibiting. Very well organised,
lots of helpful staff around from start to finish. Great lunch, great
atmosphere and above all lots of qualified and qualifying social
workers! One suggestion – in terms of networking it wasn’t easy to read
people’s name badges without staring at people’s chests! Might be
printed larger and bolder?'
Maggie Whymark

'The
fair has a good variety of exhibitors, with valuable information for
either qualified or un-qualified Social Workers. The seminars are also
of particular interest as they detail council vacancies and career
paths, practical advice on routes to becoming a Social Worker and how
to get your first job. All in all a very good exhibition.'
Helen Gazeley
Visitor
'The
whole day was worth the trip and very informative. It has given me an
insight into what lengths the local authorities would go to inorder to
secure qualified social workers. The schemes being offered are all
worth consideration. Barnet were very helpful with the amount of
information given.'
Uto Patrick

'The
Compass Jobs Fair has provided me with some healthy direction on how to
plan out my first year in Social Work practice. There were a good range
of recruitment agencies, and overall I was able to adopt a mindset of
thinking about where I want to be in the next 5 years – which is useful
to help devise immediate stepping stones.'
Angela TaylorStudent – Kingston University
'A
well attended fair with a good mixture of both qualified and
unqualified individuals. The staff from Compass have been, as usual,
most helpful and friendly whilst remaining professional and efficient.'
