COMPASS Jobs Fair receives high praise from visitors

The COMPASS Jobs Fair returned to Birmingham last week with the Professional Progress & Practice conference and was once again a huge success, with more than 2200 visitors registering for a ticket. Visitors praised the jobs fair for its 'interesting and informative seminars', 'great variety of job opportunities' and 'professional, friendly team'.

Here's what just a few of our other visitors had to say about the day:

"The event was fantastic for networking opportunities"   - Independent Social Worker

"The jobs fair was very informative and supportive - lots of knowledge and current practice issues to talk about."   - Supervising Social Worker

"I have enjoyed a renewed sense of social work identity at this event"   - Advanced Practitioner

"It has been good knowing that social work still has a voice through these events" -  Team Manager

"It was very informative. I attended seminars relevant to working with children and families such as the guardianship orders and the restorative practice sessions. I would certainly recommend attending COMPASS fairs to other social workers." - Social Worker

"I found the COMPASS event to be very helpful. The seminars increased my knowledge and learning regarding social work and I was very pleased to meet prospective employers and get career advice. I feel the day will help make my practice better." - Social Work Student
