An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Physiotherapist to work within the Community Paediatric Physiotherapy Service   at the Moor Lane Centre in Chessington.

As a Bank Paediatric Physiotherapist for Achieving for Children, you will be responsible for

• Demonstrating responsibility for own practice  and accountability for all aspects of Physiotherapy care delivered to children eligible for the service.
• Providing assessment, treatment and individual care/treatment plans for a range of paediatric conditions, including for children with complex clinical, social and psychiatric needs, and monitor outcomes.
• To analyse and understand the impact of health and care plans from other disciplines on the child and the Physiotherapy intervention, this includes interpreting medical, educational and psychological assessments.
• Maintain a high standard of clinical practice by keeping up to date with research and clinical techniques, attending courses, and self-learning to ensure evidence-based practice.
• Provide specialist advice to other health, social care, educational and voluntary sector services.

To be a Bank Paediatric Physiotherapist for Achieving for Children, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points

• Have strong knowledge and experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, their families and other carers.
• You should have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary  team but also be comfortable with lone working.
