We are looking for a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist to join our Strengthening Families Plus team at a time of
exciting and positive change.  
 
As a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist in the Strengthening Families Plus for Achieving for Children, you will be
responsible for

  • Promoting the importance of mentally healthy parents/adults in the teams
  • Undertaking assessments and interventions for adults who are not accessing traditional adult mental
  • health or IAPT services
  • Provide consultations to a wide range of staff

To be a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist in Strengthening Families Plus for AfC, you will be passionate about
making a positive difference to the lives of parents, children and young people as well as demonstrating the
following points

  • Putting children and young people first
  • Qualified as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
  • Able to provide consultation and training to a range of professionals on adult mental health
  • Have at least substantial experience in working with adults with mental health difficulties
