Bank Support Worker Level 1

We are looking for Bank Support Worker Level 1's to support across residential, community and educational services. As a Trust we aim to make valuable differences to the children and young adults we care by offering a person centred approach to ensure the best quality of life to the people in our care no matter what challenges we may face along the way.

Bank Support Worker Level 1s are not required to hold qualifications but must have experience in a similar role or be working towards a relevant qualification (as stated below).

Residential Services- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent ( including NVQ Level 3 in working with children and young people or in childrens and young peoples workforce.

Community Services- QCF Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care (adults) or equivalent

Our services are across Stockport, Bolton, Macclesfield, Openshaw and Trafford. You would not be required to work across all services but would be expected to pick up shifts in a variety of service areas or locations as and when offered. This will include planned cover and also last minute sickness cover. We have opportunities within this role to support both adults and children, and also supporting emotional, behavioural difficulties or learning difficulties.

There are also lots of fun opportunities to support service users in various activities and meaningful moments in their lives. The roles can be challenging but are very rewarding and full mandatory training will be given. You would be required to support our service users with day to day care and educational needs which may include personal care, behaviour management and to use a range of communication methods.
