Together Trust are recruiting for two of our short breaks services in Cheadle and Romiley. The respite services cater for children and young people who have Autistic spectrum conditions, physical disabilities, complex health needs and learning disabilities. We provide a secure, well-equipped outdoor play areas, sensory/low stimulus rooms, very pleasant communal living and areas where young people are encouraged to develop their life skills. We offer a ‘home from home’ experience. Our accredited shared care provision for young people with autism and associated behaviours in North West England children and young people can spend over 75 nights per year in placement and the remaining time with parents/carers in their family home. Applications are therefore welcomed from experienced Residential Children's Care Workers with proven ability to support young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions and Challenging Behaviour. You will work as part of an enthusiastic team of RSCW’s providing a safe, caring and accepting environment with direction and support to our children and young people

The successful applicant for the Residential Children’s Worker role will be expected to demonstrate commitment to training and development and must be capable of adapting their work practice to the ethos of the home.
