At the Together Trust we believe everybody deserves an equal chance in life. There are no exceptions. We provide a wide range of support services including fostering, residential, community and family support. We also provide specialist educational support through our schools and colleges. One of our single residency homes in Blackley, Manchester, provides care and support to a young lady with complex health needs. They are currently recruiting for Female Care Assistants (preferably drivers as a car will be provided) to cover maternity leave (32 hours) and permanent part time (18 hours a week) to support the services user at home, in the community and carrying out interest lead activities. This is a rewarding role where you will see the positive difference you can make every day.

As Care Assistant or Community Support Worker you will join a dedicated team who provide a high standard of care and support to our young person. • Food Preparation and support with meal times
• Carrying out general tasks like housework, laundry and shopping
• Giving emotional and practical support – encouraging to go out in the community
• Helping to organise activities
• Moving and Handling
• First Aid

You will receive full training and support for the role, however, we would prefer that you have some experience of providing care at this level, whether within a care home, hospital or home care/domiciliary setting. You will be a naturally caring individual who takes pride in their work and goes the extra mile, however this is an incredibly rewarding role!

In return for your hard work and dedication you will receive many benefits including Training which can lead to gaining a recognised qualification, great holidays, competitive pay, childcare vouchers and other company schemes. Apply today for an immediate interview!
