Your new company
A forward thinking local authority, Southampton City Council, are looking to expand during an exciting transformation project with the addition of exciting Social work opportunities. Growth in high quality social workers is required to even further excel in the quality of service, ultimately creating manageable case-loads for each individual social worker.
Your new role
An extremely in depth knowledge of children's social work is required with the successful candidate's having an understanding of the teams way of working. Court experience is essential and experience giving evidence in court would be desirable. You must also have recent experience within a front line social work role and have relevant child protection experience.
What you'll need to succeed
You will require a Social Work qualification (BA/BSc/MA/MSc Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, CSS or CCETSW approved equivalent). It is also essential that you be registered with the HCPC. Experience must have been gained post qualifying (ASYE) which is sufficient in order to settle quickly into this position and add value to the local authority.
