"I came to NCC after qualifying as a Social Worker just over 20 years ago. I’ve worked all over the County in lots of different teams. I’m now the Principal Child & Families Social Worker, and manage the Practice Support Service Team.
The learning and development opportunities I have experienced at the Council have been fantastic. Since I’ve worked here I’ve been supported to complete two Postgraduate Diplomas and lots of work related training.
During my career I have always been supported to continually develop myself professionally and I’m pleased that my current job gives me a role in supporting other staff – passing on my knowledge and experience.
