“I applied to Solihull as a newly qualified social worker because I had heard that the ASYE programme was highly supportive. Given that I didn’t have a statutory placement while studying for my Masters in Social Work, this was really important to me. I was therefore confident that Solihull would further develop my knowledge and skills appropriately, with a manageable caseload.”

Social Worker, Children in Need Team

“Within the adoption team, I enjoy the diversity of social work that I am able to practice. This includes supporting adoptive families in crisis, assessing people from all walks of life to become adopters and finding forever families for children. I am particularly inspired by the drive to help children have a ‘happy ever after’.  My team are very skilled, knowledgeable and supportive and the opportunities for learning and progression is constant.”

Social Worker

“I’d like to thank Solihull for their support and commitment to my development as a practice educator.”
