at the North West Social Work Show!

The North West Social Work Show returned to Manchester last Monday to once again ‘Bring Social Workers Together’ . The event, which was a success for all, received high praise from exhibitors and visitors alike.

The conference saw more than 1500 visitors register as social workers from across the country came in search of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training, career advice, informal interviews and more.

Over 20 local authorities from across the United Kingdom exhibited at the event alongside voluntary sector organisations, independent providers and universities. Exhibitors were delighted with the NWSWS and many, such as John Diamond of The Mulberry Bush and Sian Richardson of The Richardson Partnership for Care , have already signed up for future events.

The event also contained a packed seminar programme, covering a wide range of topics from across the sector, providing visitors with transferable knowledge to use in their everyday practise. Visitors raved about the “fantastic” and “vibrant” programme content, with many praising the interesting and informative selection of presentations available.
