for the North West Social Work Show

The full conference topics for the North West Social Work Show have now been released. The conference, featuring more than 36 seminars, workshops and films runs alongside the exhibition from 9:30am to 4:30pm on 21st May at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester.

The conference will provide a full day of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) with sessions on the latest practice in children’s social work, adult social care and mental health. 

The conference, which is celebrating its 11th year of success, runs across five areas and is presented and produced by some leading figures from local authorities, voluntary sector organisations and universities. The conference will be covering topics including:

Social Work, Pride and Professionalism

How can local authorities and social work staff improve their response to child trafficking?

Understanding Attachment Theory
